THE QUARRY

Exhibited in the underground garage of Kube Hotel during the FW22 Paris Fashion Week, The Quarry documents our travels through the diverse topographies of Los Angeles’ landscapes.

It is a study of rusts, and the corrosive nature of materials that time brings to all weathered objects. Each piece is a depiction of a rustic change and is based on a reference that we found somewhere along the desert, at the beach, or on the towering walls of LA’s downtown streets. We compiled the references into cohesive groups based on their similarities in color and texture, and formed 14 district outfits, resulting in a total of 56 one-of-one pieces.

The collection was also later displayed at a private showroom in Le Marais.
